IM4US: 2026 Annual Conference
At the annual conference, IM4US will highlight presentations on lifting models of financially-accessible, trauma-informed, culturally safe and culturally-responsive health care, as well as models that are redefining professional expertise through dignified collaboration between diverse healthcare practitioners, patients and communities.
Target Audience
This activity is intended for physicians, nurses, and public health professionals.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, the learner will be able to:
1. Utilize inclusive, anti-racist, and culturally relevant strategies to provide dignified collaboration between diverse healthcare practitioners, patients, and communities.
2. Select appropriate integrative health and medicine treatment strategies for use in common problems seen in underserved patient populations.
3. Compare the various best practice models for providing effective integrative health and medicine care for patients in underserved communities.
4. Evaluate the indications, benefits, and risks of integrative health and medicine approaches for underserved populations and select appropriate resources based on patient needs and preferences.
5. Identify new health practitioners and healers across disciplines and professions to foster interprofessional collaboration and therapeutic cooperation.
