Ria Sood is a third-year medical student at the Pritzker School of Medicine, dedicated to bridging public health and clinical medicine to advance health equity. In her first year, she served as Co-President of Mission Nutrition at Pritzker, an organization teaching nutrition education to middle schoolers in underresourced Chicago neighborhoods. Guided by the philosophy that food is medicine, Ria is committed to addressing food insecurity and food literacy as levers for improving long-term health outcomes in vulnerable communities.
