14th Annual JPS Trauma Symposium is a virtual one-day program focusing on current trauma, critical care and complex social concerns impacting care delivery. The symposium features cutting edge lectures, innovative topics and interactive discussions by leaders in the field of trauma care.

Target Audience

This activity is intended for physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, and any healthcare provider treating trauma patients.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity leaners should be able to:

  • Delineate strategies to effectively address comprehensive needs of injured trauma patients, including those experiencing violence;
  • Identify opportunities to enhance interdisciplinary collaboration among healthcare teams;
  • Define patient centered care that promotes optimal recovery, resiliency and quality of life for the injured trauma patient; and
  • Optimize care and outcomes in patients with penetrating trauma.
