Rodney McIntosh is the director of VIPFW which is acronym for Violence Intervention and Prevention Fort Worth, VIPFW is a non-profit organization whose sole focus is to reduce cyclical and retaliatory gun violence in the city of Fort Worth. VIPFW works with young men from the ages of 11- 29 and through this work Rodney McIntosh has worked with a numerous number of young men in the inner city, teaching lessons on conflict resolution, de-escalation, emotional intelligence, as well as how to deal with Adverse Childhood Experiences all with the goal of equipping them for the future. Rodney McIntosh has spoken at conferences locally and nationally surrounding the discussion of Violence Interruption. He also has been trained in conflict mediation, conflict resolution and de-escalation, trauma and resiliency and emotional intelligence.
