HSCCP: 2025 Pharmacy Conclave
Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP) requires pharmacist to be licensed preceptors for pharmacy students. TSBP requires 3.0 hr Preceptor CE initially and every two years renewal period for Texas pharmacists to maintain their preceptor license. Programs of pharmacy are required by the ACPE Standards 2025 to provide preceptor education programs for the pharmacists that precept their students. This Conclave program will provide 3 hr of preceptor CE for pharmacists. In addition, TSBP requires licensed pharmacists and technicians to obtain 1.0 hr Texas Pharmacy Law every two years renewal period. The staff of the TSBP will provide programming for this CE without honorarium. Adding this CE to our Conclave allows pharmacists to gain required preceptor and Texas Law CE.

Session: What’s in the new standards regarding experiential education and precepting?

- Compare and contrast ACPE Accreditation Standards 2025 to previous standards.
- Discuss the evolving role of entrustable professional activities (EPA) in experiential education.
- Describe strategies to incorporate the new standards into introductory and advances pharmacy practice experiences.

This knowledge-based activity has been assigned UAN JA0004637-0000-25-042-L99-P and will award 4 contact hour of continuing pharmacy education credit in states that recognized ACPE Providers.
Statements of participation will indicate hours and CEUs based on participation and will be issued online at the conclusion of the activity. Successful completion includes completing the activity, its accompanying evaluation and/or posttest (score 70% or higher) and requesting credit online at the conclusion of the activity.
Credit will be uploaded to CPE Monitor, and participants may print a statement of credit or transcript from their NABP e-profile. HSC complies with the Accreditation Standards for Continuing Pharmacy Education.
