The 3rd annual Vision Science Symposium will be held October 7th, 2026. This event will feature keynote speaker Dr. Carla Siegfried of Washington University School of Medicine she will be presenting "From Bedside to Bench... The Story of Oxygen and Insights into Glaucoma (and Cataract)".

Target Audience

This activity is intended for physicians.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

1. Apply the concept that surgical interventions in the ocular posterior segment may impact the health of the anterior segment

2. Develop new approaches to stratification of race in basic science and clinical research

3. Recognize that racial disparities of glaucoma may include both basic physiologic differences and social determinants of health
