Nourish and Renew: Whole-Person Wellness for Dietitians and Nutrition Professionals
Dietitians and nutrition professionals are dedicated to supporting the health of others, yet their own well-being is often challenged by the demands of workload, ongoing pressure, and emotional strains. This interactive retreat creates space for connection, reflection, and renewal through brief presentations, roundtable discussions, and networking. Participants will explore whole-person wellness, discuss practical strategies for rest and renewal, and participate in wellness movement.
Target Audience
This continuing education program is designed for dieticians and nutrition professionals.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
1. Identify key components of whole-person wellness that influence the well-being of dietitians in professional practice.
2. Recognize common contributors to stress, depletion, and burnout in dietetics roles.
3. Discuss practical strategies that support rest, resilience, boundaries, and sustainable self-care.
4. Apply insights from a self-care assessment and mindful movement activity to support personal renewal and well-being.
5. Develop one realistic action step to support ongoing whole-person wellness.

The University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing Education for the healthcare team.

Completion of this RD/DTR profession-specific awards 1.5 CPEUs. (1 hour/60 minutes = 1 CPEU).
RDs and DTRs are to select activity type 102 in their Activity Logs. Performance Indicator selection is at the learner’s discretion.

The University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth certifies this activity for 1.5 hours of participation.
