AIHM: 2025-27 Integrative Healthcare for the Underserved: Towards Good Medicine for All

This module equips learners with the knowledge and tools to deliver Integrative Medicine in underserved settings. Participants will explore the unique challenges and benefits of providing care in these environments, gaining insights into strategies that enhance patient outcomes and community well-being. The session will highlight key components of successful and comprehensive models of Integrative Medicine tailored to underserved populations. Additionally, learners will leave with a practical, low-cost clinical pearl or concept that can be immediately implemented in their practice, empowering them to make a meaningful impact starting “Monday Morning.”

 

Target Audience

This activity is intended for physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers, and pharmacists. 

Learning Objectives

Upon the completion of this module, learners will be able to:

  • Describe the unique challenges and benefits of providing Integrative Medicine in underserved settings.
  • Highlight critical aspects of a successful and comprehensive model of integrative medicine in underserved settings. 
  • Implement a low-cost clinical pearl or practical concept that they can start using with patients on "Monday Morning."
