Amanda Miller, PhD, PA-C, AAHIVS

Amanda Miller has worked at CentroMed, a Federally Qualified Health Center in San Antonio, TX, since 2014. In her position she manages the primary care needs and HIV treatment of over 1,000 patients. She was the first provider in San Antonio to prescribe PrEP on a large scale and in collaboration with her supervising physician, was a leader in early HIV treatment initiation in San Antonio. Amanda is credentialed as an American Academy of HIV Medicine Specialist. Prior to her PA education, Amanda worked in HIV and STI prevention for over 10 years. She has a Master of Public Health from the University of Texas Houston, a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and a PhD in Health Sciences from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Amanda has held leadership positions in the Bexar County PA Society and Texas Academy of Physician Assistants; and she was a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants Commission on the Health of the Public.
