She brings more than 20 years of experience leading enterprise strategy, operational improvement, and large-scale change across healthcare, academic medicine, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Laura currently leads institution-wide efforts in strategy development and management, risk management, and continuous improvement, and has partnered closely with executive leaders to align organizational priorities with measurable outcomes. Prior to UNT Health, she held senior leadership roles at CHRISTUS Health, UC Health, and AstraZeneca, delivering impactful results in workforce transformation, performance improvement, and Lean system implementation.

A certified Lean Black Belt with a master’s degree in physics from Purdue University, Laura is known for translating complex challenges into practical, people-centered solutions.
