Shreyas Saride is a medical student at UT Southwestern with a focus on improving health literacy and patient-centered communication across clinical and community settings. He leads the development of P.L.A.N. (Problem, Life Impact, Actions, Need for Help), a simple patient-facing framework designed to help people clarify their diagnosis, translate instructions into next steps, and identify when to seek help. His work spans community health education (including hypertension-focused programming), student-supported clinic workflows, and inpatient discharge communication initiatives. Shreyas is interested in scalable, low-burden tools that strengthen shared decision-making and improve understanding for medically complex and underserved populations.
