Katharine Esser, MA Professional Counseling, LPC-S, LCDC, NCC
Katharine is the Assistant Director of Research and Training Services at The Women’s Center of Tarrant County. Since 2005, she has worked in the field of sexual assault and abuse in various capacities, as a hospital response advocate, therapist, and in prevention and education. Katharine is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor who received her Masters of Arts degree in Counseling from Texas State University-San Marcos.
Katharine is passionate about doing her part to help end sexual violence through education and training on sexual assault and interpersonal violence issues. She works to empower children and adults to speak out about abuse and to act as responsible bystanders to stand up for others.
