Alisha Mathenia, MPA
Alisha Mathenia is the Assistant Director of Crisis Services at The Women’s Center in Tarrant County. Her current role oversees the operation of the 24-hour crisis hotline and hospital accompaniment program and office walk-in services. She supervises the Crisis team, which consists of clinical intake and case management staff, full-time Hospital Advocates as well as part-time and volunteer victim advocates. Additionally, Alisha serves as a community liaison between local law enforcement agencies and community hospitals. Alisha has worked in the field of victim services since 2013 when she first began as a volunteer Victim Advocate at The Women’s Center for rape crisis clients. She is passionate about program development, streamlining processes and implementing new practices in an effort to improve trauma informed service access and delivery to survivors in the community.
Alisha holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Texas Woman’s University and a Master of Public Administration from the University of North Texas.
