AIHM: 2024-26 Autoimmunity and Women's Health
This program provides an in-depth exploration of the relationship between autoimmunity and women's health, with a focus on the unique challenges that arise during perimenopause and menopause. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the prevalence, scope, and impact of autoimmune diseases on women during these transitional life stages. The course emphasizes evidence-based methods for assessing the complex psycho-immune-neuro-endocrine network, incorporating cutting-edge genomic, environmental, and biomarker testing to guide clinical decision-making.
Through a systems-based approach, healthcare professionals will learn to develop personalized treatment strategies for autoimmune disease. This includes the integration of emerging nutrients, immune modulators, elimination diets, and tailored lifestyle interventions. By the end of the program, participants will be equipped with practical tools and knowledge to optimize patient care and improve outcomes in women facing autoimmune challenges during perimenopause and menopause.
