Dr. Frank Guido-Sanz, Ph.D., APRN, ANP-BC, AGACNP-BC, CHSE, FAANP is an Associate Professor and Graduate Simulation Coordinator at the University of Central Florida College of Nursing. He is certified as an Adult and as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. He has been a critical care nurse for over 25 years and a nurse practitioner for over 20 years and maintains an active practice as an acute care nurse practitioner in a surgical ICU. Dr. Guido-Sanz is recognized as an expert in acute care and an established nurse practitioner scientist with a research focus on innovative technology, interprofessional research, and simulation. He is co-inventor of three patented multi-sensory and adaptive visual wound simulation systems and has several pending patents. Dr. Guido-Sanz's research interests are the integration of technology and simulation in combat casualty and critical care, trauma, and disaster health.
