Landon Opunui, ND, FAIHM, DipACLM
Dr. Landon Opunui leads the Nā Puʻuwai Native Hawaiian Health Care System on Molokaʻi and Lānaʻi, where he advances Mauli Ola through a healthcare delivery model that integrates primary health services, traditional, complimentary, and integrative medicine, education, health promotion and disease prevention. With over ten years of experience in Integrative Healthcare, his background includes working in health technology, teaching, and contributing to the advancement of integrative medicine access. Dr. Opunui is a former 4-year NCAA Division 1 athlete at Loyola Marymount University, holds a Naturopathic Doctorate from Bastyr University and has completed a Fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine. He is also an active board member of Hui Mauli Ola, a non-profit dedicated to perpetuating traditional Hawaiian healing practices. Dr. Opunui’s leadership at Nā Puʻuwai is committed to enhancing healthcare access, improving health outcomes and inspiring our future healthcare workforce.
