Professional Activities: 

Leadership positions prior to joining SCU include Chair of the Chiropractic Section of Pacific Hospital of Long Beach, several with the California Chiropractic Association, serving as an Exam Commissioner and Expert Consultant for the California Board of Chiropractic Examiners, almost 15 years as an Examiner for the National Board of Chiropractic Examiner, and currently serving on the board of directors of the Integrative Health Policy Consortium. 

Presentations at conferences in Australia (x2), US (multiple), China (x3), Singapore, UK, Greece, and Germany. 

Author and co-author of peer-reviewed publications in Journal of Manipulative & Physiological Therapeutics, Chiropractic and Manual Therapies, Journal of Chiropractic Humanities, Interventional Pain Medicine and Journal of Substance Use. Co-author of a 2016 chapter in an Oxford University Press textbook on integrative pain management as well as co-author of a chapter in a 2023 textbook on Traditional World Medicine.
