HSCCP: 2024 Assessment and Feedback in Experiential Setting
HSCCP provides a formalized Teaching and Learning Certificate (TLC) program for DFW area residents and fellows. Starting in 2014, the TLC program is a year-long experience that includes workshop sessions and evaluated teaching experiences for residents. Training residents in teaching will enhance their skills for a possible career in clinical practice and/or academia through strengthening presentation skills, teaching aptitude, and precepting skills. Additionally, all residents are pharmacists enrolled in the program and serve as HSCCP preceptors and lecturers, and the development of these pharmacists is critical to their growth and in supporting our students' learning experiences. The first workshop under this program was on precepting and mentoring. This second workshop will be on assessment and feedback in experiential setting.
