Rynn Ziller, EdD
Dr. Rynn Ziller is the Assistant Dean of Medical Student Success and Professor of Medical Education at the University of North Texas Health Science Center (UNTHSC.) She received her B.A. in English from Texas Wesleyan University, her M.A. in Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and her EdD in Higher Education Leadership with a concentration in Healthcare Education from Nova Southeastern University. In her 30 year career in higher education, she has served as a resource to undergraduate, graduate, and professional students seeking assistance in the areas of: academic support, advising, leadership training, career counseling, clinical education, and other matters of concern for each student's full development. She is a Costin Scholar, attending the Costin Institute for Osteopathic Medical Educators in 2009 and is also a Harvard Macy Scholar having attended the Harvard Macy Institute for Educators in the Health Professions in 2017. She and her husband Erik have 4 adult children and a teenaged grandson. Spending time with them at the lake is her favorite thing to do.
