Jen Miff, MBA
Jen Miff is President of the Dallas-Fort Worth Hospital Council Foundation, a non-profit 501C3 organization dedicated to collective healthcare improvement in the North Texas region. The Foundation brings together 110+ member hospitals, local and national partners, and the community through collaboration, research, and education.
The Foundation provides ongoing data management, business intelligence dashboards, and research support to its members and supports a wide variety of regional collaborations around healthcare improvement. These include: Patient Safety & Quality improvement efforts such as the CMS HQIC program, Community Health programs such as Mental Health First Aid and automating Pre-Diabetes Referrals to Lifestyle Change Programs; and Workforce efforts, including an apprenticeship program with Dallas College, regional clinical placements coordination, and a cross-functional collaborative on regional workforce priorities.
Jen has extensive experience leading data and analytics to drive growth and organizational improvement. She has led research projects in healthcare, consumer electronics, and the government. Most recently, she led strategy & market insights for a SaaS-based integrated health and analytics company for the provider and payer markets. Jen started her career at the Baldrige Performance Excellence Program at the National Institute of Standards & Technology, where she helped launch the Healthcare Criteria & Pilot Program.
Prior to healthcare analytics, Jen spent 12 years in the telecommunications market. She led consumer and market insights and advanced analytics in the cell phone business and drove market strategy for an early predecessor of Google’s Android platform. Also an avid change agent, Jen led internal Baldrige Assessments and organizational improvement efforts for Motorola Labs, the global applied research function.
Jen’s functional expertise includes data management, customer and consumer experience, market and consumer research and analytics, organizational performance optimization, quality programs, and change management. “I joined healthcare to be a passionate advocate for understanding consumer choice and leveraging market data & analytics in the context of healthcare decision making.”
Jen received her B.A. in Economics from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL and her MBA, with distinction, from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management. She lives in Dallas with her husband and daughter.
