NTERI-Whole Health Eye Symposium

The 2nd annual Whole Health Eye Symposium will be held October 10th, 2025. This event will be a speaker presentation with keynote speaker Dr. Natalie Afshari from the University of California at San Diego. She will present on the genetics and regenerative properties of the corneal endothelium. We will also have a guest speaker Dr. Jamboor Viswanatha from the Institute of Health Disparities at UNT Health. 

Target Audience

The target audience for this activity is for Ophthalmologists.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
1. Identify the properties of corneal endothelium 
2. Describe the genetics of Fuchs Endothelial Corneal Dystrophy 
3. Explain stem cell regeneration of the corneal endothelium
