HSCCP: 2023-25 The Pokes and Prods of Pediatric Immunization Precepting
This continuing education program aims for pharmacists to recognize the changes in laws surrounding pediatric immunizations and review preceptor techniques to optimize immunization encounters appropriate to pediatric patients. By the end of this activity, pharmacy preceptors will be able to implement appropriate pediatric immunization pearls while precepting pharmacy students.

Learning Objectives
When you complete this module, you will be able to:
- Identify changes in laws surrounding pediatric immunizations.
- Describe ImmTrac and its utility in managing pediatric immunizations.
- Apply the latest ACIP recommendations to children and adolescents using the immunization schedule and catch-up immunization schedule.
- Review preceptor techniques to optimize immunization encounters appropriate to pediatric patients.
- Apply precepting pearls to pediatric immunization cases.
