CON: 2025 Non-Fatal Strangulation Assessment
This course provides 8 hours of education on intimate partner violence (IPV), non-fatal strangulation in IPV relationships, brain injury, and assessment and documentation following non-fatal strangulation.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity leaners should be able to:
- Relate the prevalence and health consequences of non-fatal strangulation and brain injury in intimate partner violence (IPV) relationships.
- Implement trauma-informed screening for non-fatal strangulation and brain injury in patients seeking healthcare after experiencing IPV.
- Conduct a trauma-responsive assessment for non-fatal strangulation and brain injury, including comprehensive evaluation of injuries and accurate, objective documentation.
