AIHM-FIWH 121: Therapeutic Diets
In this module, we will explore four core dietary approaches that play a pivotal role in managing various health conditions and for diagnostic and therapeutic applications: the DASH diet, Low FODMAPs diet, anti-inflammatory diet, and elimination diet.
As healthcare providers, you are well aware of the significant impact that diet can have on individual health outcomes. These diets are not only used as interventions but also as tools for prevention, symptom management, and overall improvement of patients' quality of life. The ability to effectively recommend and guide patients through these dietary approaches can be a powerful addition to your clinical toolkit.
Throughout this module, we will introduce the key principles, applications, and considerations for each diet.
