AIHM: 2025-27 Environmental Toxins and Autoimmune Diseases
This module provides an in-depth exploration of autoimmune diseases and the impact of environmental toxins on immune system function. Participants will examine the epidemiology of autoimmune disorders and learn evidence-based strategies for effective patient management. The session will also delve into the wide array of toxins present in the human environment and their cellular mechanisms that influence immune function. Learners will gain insights into both conventional and integrative/functional approaches to reducing toxic exposures, equipping them with practical tools to support patient health and improve outcomes in the management of autoimmune conditions.
Target Audience
This activity is intended for physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers, and pharmacists.
