Dr. Jen Matthews is an Integrative Pediatrician with the UCSF Stad Center for Pediatric Pain, Palliative, and Integrative Medicine and serves as the Associate Director for Education at the UCSF Osher Center for Integrative Health. She incorporates acutherapy, herbal medicine, and mind-body practices into pediatric care. 

Her clinical work includes supporting children and adolescents with chronic pain and illness, digestive disorders, and auto-immune conditions. Dr. Matthews’ work focuses on expanding access to integrative care for children and families who are underserved by traditional medical systems, with a commitment to advancing health equity. She is also passionate about herbal medicine and about developing thoughtful, accessible education that helps clinicians and communities engage safely and effectively with herbal therapies.
