Jeffrey Geller MD is a family physician known for his development of the modern group medical visit (GMV) models and protocols.  He pioneered bringing integrative medicine practices and modalities to underserved communities and developing small scale fellowships and training opportunities to share best practices. His primary goal of treating loneliness led to his work with open group models which prioritize human connection and are a major influence in the field. He has won numerous awards from the U.S. Surgeon General, Congress, AAFP, IM4US, and FMEC for creating the largest U.S.  group medical visit program mostly in the community health center community.  He was also the 2020 Massachusetts Associaton of Family Practice Family Physician of the year. He is now working at Kronos Health as a full time clinician and continues to provide services to the underserved using innovative value-based reimbursement models where GMVs thrive.   He started the non-profit ICGMV in 2019 which he believes will revolutionize primary healthcare – using innovative billing models to give patients, providers, and communities the time and support they need to create health.
