Amy Truong, DTCM, MPH, L.Ac

Amy Truong, DTCM, MPH is a licensed acupuncturist, public health leader, and emerging health tech investor whose career bridges Traditional Chinese Medicine, health systems innovation, and implementation science. She has launched and led acupuncture and integrative medicine programs across diverse clinical environments including City of Hope, federally qualified health centers, corporate wellness programs, and nonprofit settings integrating Eastern medicine with modern care delivery models.
Dr. Truong is the founder of Road to Wellness, an angel-backed, interdisciplinary clinic she successfully scaled and exited. Her work focuses on advancing financially sustainable, value-based, and culturally responsive care. As a subject matter expert in East-West integrative medicine, she regularly lectures on clinical implementation strategy and the research foundations of TCM, drawing on her background in neuroendocrine immunology and epigenetics.
Dr. Truong holds a Doctorate in Traditional Chinese Medicine, a B.S. in Biochemistry, and an MPH in Health Policy and Management from UCLA. She is currently pursuing a MBA at UCLA Anderson, where she is both a Dean’s Fellow and a Forté Fellow. Her mission is to support clinicians and health systems in delivering patient-centered care that is both evidence-based and rooted in whole-person healing.
