Daniel Bernal has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a Concentration in Public Administration from The University of Phoenix. Daniel has extensive experience managing public assistance programs. In his recent role, Daniel spent nine years managing and help provide Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) food benefits, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) cash benefits, and Medicaid, a major federal program that provides health insurance for low-income individuals and families for Texas Health and Human Services. Now, Daniel serves as a Faith Based Community Engagement Specialist for Adult Protective Services at the Texas Department of Family Protective Services leading strategic efforts to improve and expand Adult Protective Services partner network while educating the public and community partners on APS services.
