ForwardAIHM: 2025-27 Transforming in Fellowship: Perspectives on Self, Practice, and Systems
This activity explores a multidisciplinary approach to pain management, emphasizing the latest evidence-based integrative modalities. Participants will examine various treatment options, including chiropractic manipulation, soft tissue mobilization, and the use of minerals and herbs for pain relief. The activity will also provide practical strategies for implementing these integrative approaches in clinical practice, equipping learners with tools to enhance patient care and improve pain management outcomes.
Target Audience
This activity is intended for physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers, and pharmacists.
Learning Objectives
Upon the completion of this module, learners will be able to:
- Discuss how the AIHM fellowship training prepares fellows for work in healthcare transformation.
- List ways in which self-care is underscored and encouraged within the fellowship and transferred into work post-fellowship.
- Discuss ways in which the experience and content of the AIHM fellowship prepares fellows for work in systems change.
