Frank Lonergan, MD
After completing my residency in Family Practice at the Medical University of South Carolina and a brief stint in Oklahoma, my wife and I moved to Azle Texas where I practiced family medicine for 30 years. During that time I also had the privelege of being a member of the board of North Texas Specialty Physicians, an independent practice association, as well as the Chief Medical Officer of Care 'N Care, a Medicare Advantage program. In 2014 I left private practice and joined the John Peter Smith Healthnetwork where I served as the medical director for homeless services. Curently I direct medical services at the Tarrant County Jail DIversion Center and provide coaching to medical students at the Marion Burnett School of Medicine at TCU where I am an Assistant Professor.
