Dr. Megan Wesling is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Pharmacotherapy at the UNT Health Fort Worth College of Pharmacy. In addition to her academic leadership role, Dr. Wesling practices as an ambulatory care pharmacist at the UNT Health Clinical Practice Group Family Medicine Clinic. Prior to becoming Chair, she served as Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Director for the Clinical Practice Group, where she led clinical pharmacy faculty, advanced ambulatory care services, and supported medication-related patient safety initiatives and the financial sustainability of clinical pharmacy services. Dr. Wesling’s scholarly work focuses on the scholarship of teaching and learning, interprofessional education, and ambulatory care practice advancement. Her work integrates clinical practice, systems-based thinking, and education to improve medication use processes and patient safety outcomes.
