  • Examine the research on the diagnostic validity of ADD in children and adults, especially studies of course of illness and symptom overlap with mood and anxiety conditions;
  • Appraise clinical psychopharmacology research on efficacy and safety of amphetamines in ADD in children and adults; and
  • Analyze research on mood temperaments and their relevance to patients currently diagnosed with adult ADD
