Overview
This is a blended-learning series for faculty and preceptors interested in advancing interprofessional practice education along the full learning continuum. This program addresses the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for teaching IPE and modeling interprofessional collaborative practice. This proposal is for the eighth iteration of the program.
Series Objectives
Upon completion of this activity leaners should be able to:
1. Improve knowledge, skills, and attitudes for integrating interprofessional learning opportunities into health professions education programs and practice
2. Implement interprofessional collaboration curricula with health profession students and team members within home institution
3. Create partnerships among interprofessional colleagues to create learning communities and opportunities for students
Target Audience
This activity is intended for physicians, physician assistants, nurses, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, registered dieticians, certified public health professionals, social workers, physical therapists, psychologists, licensed marriage and family therapists, and licensed professional counselors.
