Dr. Abarca is from Brownsville, Texas and he came to Fort Worth to complete medical school at TCOM. He is interested in hospital medicine and is currently a resident physician at Texas Health. Dr Abarca is a member of the residency's Cares Committee where he works on supporting the well-being of residents. Outside of medicine, he enjoys watching scary movies as well as going hiking.
