Tori Shepard, M.D., is an assistant professor in the Department of Population Health with the University of Texas Dell Medical School Family Medicine Residency.  Originally from Tyler, Texas, Shepard first got a degree in geography at the University of California and completed her service in the U.S. Peace Corps in Kenya before starting her medical career. After medical school at The University of Texas Medical Branch, Shepard completed her training in family medicine at John Peter Smith Health Network in Fort Worth. She completed her fellowship in geriatrics at The University of Texas Medical Branch.  Shepard has been a faculty member at UT Dell since 2020 and the Associate Program Director since 2022.
