• Differentiate between coagulation disorders based on patient factors, etiologies, pathogenesis, clinical and laboratory features;
• Identify emergent bleeding or coagulation disorders and when to refer to a specialist; and
• Provide counseling and patient education in management of coagulation or bleeding disorders
