Session Objectives

Upon completion of this activity learners should be able to: 

  •  Describe the prevalence of dizziness, imbalance, and vestibular dysfunction across the lifespan

  •  Correlate aspects of the subjective history to conditions impacting dizziness and vestibular disorders

  •  Identify elements of oculomotor examination appropriate to an evidence-based bedside vestibular evaluation. 

  • Interpret key subjective and objective elements of vestibular evaluation to differentiate peripheral versus central vestibular dysfunction.
