Leslie Allsopp is an Assistant Professor of Pediatric and Women’s Health at the University of North Texas Health Science Center, Principal Investigator and Faculty Partner for Asthma 411 at SaferCare Texas, and a Certified Asthma Educator. Dr. Allsopp is also Affiliate Faculty with UNTHSCs Health Policy Center. Her work in Public Health began over 30 years. For the past 10 years she has been involved with the adaptation, piloting, and expansion of the Asthma 411 model in North Texas, and she is active in state efforts to improve asthma outcomes.  Dr. Allsopp lectures on health disparities and rural public health at the University of North Texas Health Science Center, and has presented work at numerous local, state, and national conferences.
