Those attending this series will receive information that should allow them to:

• Evaluate patients for hyperlipidemia and overall cardiovascular risk using evidence-based screening tools and risk stratification models in the primary care setting;

• Implement and manage evidence-based lifestyle and pharmacologic interventions for the treatment of lipid disorders; and

• Monitor, analyze, and adjust lipid-lowering therapy based on treatment response, safety considerations, and coexisting comorbid conditions
