Overview

Improve Trauma Resuscitation Team performance by hardwiring a systematic approach to resuscitative trauma care and reducing variability in practice, communication failures, and role confusion, as well as optimizing interprofessional teamwork and leadership.

Series Objectives

Upon completion of this activity learners should be able to:

• Discuss the quality improvement purpose, aims, and interventions to trauma team members;
• Identify project team roles;
• Apply TeamSTEPPS performance and learning tactics to the TVDC; and
• Facilitate effective debriefs of team performance in the TVDC conference
