Overview

Our Case Conference Series will focus on identified clinical knowledge gaps and address these gaps with local clinicians in a variety of areas. Three main gap areas have been identified and broadly include 1) updates in clinical knowledge, especially as it relates to substance use disorders (SUD) as well as women's mental health amongst other clinical updates. 2) Improving clinician skills to assess and treat specific disorders across the age spectrum. 3) Raising awareness of patient safety events to help facilitate the identification of clinical areas for improvement.

Learning Objectives

• Discuss techniques/skills to identify gaps in clinical care;
• Identify gaps in their clinical knowledge which can be used to improve patient care;
• Evaluate knowledge of behavioral health areas to ensure consistency with standards of care to help reduce healthcare disparities
