Overview

Surgical Quality Improvement Conference will be held bimonthly to review deviations from standard of care, mortality cases, and identified patient complications. Allows for real-time education on patient cases and care planning.

Series Objectives

Upon completion of this activity leaners should be able to:

• Increase knowledge and comprehension of complex surgical physiology and pathophysiology; 
• Enhance competence in assessment diagnosis, non-surgical and surgical treatment, communication, and post-operative management of the surgical patient; and 
• Improve surgical performance and outcome measures.
