Dr. Alexandra Granado Sanchez is currently a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellow at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, TX. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Preprofessional Studies and Psychology from the University of Notre Dame and completed her medical education at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Granado stayed in Fort Worth to complete her psychiatry residency at JPS. She is looking forward to continuing her work at JPS after graduation as an outpatient child and adolescent psychiatry attending.
Her professional interests include trauma-informed care, psychoeducation for patients and families, and teaching residents and fellows. Outside of her professional commitments, Dr. Granado enjoys spending time with her family, especially her 4 year old son and 1 year old daughter.
