  • Describe morbidity and disease burden of cardiac arrest;
  • Identify common causes of arrest and immediate interventions;
  • Outline updates in targeted temperature management;
  • Review post arrest surveillance including early seizure management; and
  • Discuss the principles of neurologic prognostication in arrest
