  • Review the pathophysiology of premenstrual dysphoric disorder.
  • Identify diagnostic criteria and appropriate evaluation of the adolescent for PMS/PMDD.
  • Summarize the treatment of premenstrual dysphoric disorder in adolescents.
  • Explain the means to improve care coordination among interprofessional team members to improve outcomes for adolescents affected by premenstrual dysphoric disorder.
