Session Learning Objectives

Those attending this series will receive information that should allow them to:

• Describe the pathophysiology and classifications of heart failure, including HFrEF and HFpEF;
• Identify key clinical signs, symptoms, and risk factors associated with CHR;
• Discuss evidence-based pharmacologic treatments for HFrEF, including guideline-directed medical therapy (GDMT): ACE inhibitors/ARBs/ARNI, beta-blockers, mineralocorticoid receptor antagonists, and SGLT2 inhibitors
