• Recognize the Connection Between Trauma and Substance Use Disorders (Participants will be able to identify how adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and trauma contribute to the development and persistence of substance use disorders, with a focus on patterns observed in parents involved in the child welfare system); and
• Apply Trauma-Informed Strategies to Support Recovery (Participants will learn practical, trauma-informed approaches to addressing substance use disorders, fostering resilience, and supporting recovery efforts for parents navigating the challenges of the child welfare system)
