My name is Shelley Walker and I live in Bryan, Texas. I have been a nurse for over forty (40) years and currently work in a Level 3 Trauma Center in the Critical Care Unit and Emergency Department. I, also, teach Trauma Nursing Core Curriculum and Emergency Pediatric Nursing Course, Previous to working full time in nursing, I was a high school Spanish teacher and coached tennis, basketball, and volleyball for five (5) years. My nursing and Spanish degree compliments my resume well and has allowed me to travel to Guatemala with a team of physicians setting up clinics for the underprivileged. 

Also, I have been married for over forty (40) years and have two (2) successful daughters who have chosen my pathways as a teacher and a nurse.
