At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

• Identify common warning signs and risk indicators associated with suicide and severe mental health distress;
• Demonstrate how to ask direct, supportive questions about suicidal thoughts and engage in brief, hope-focused conversations; and
• Apply appropriate referral and escalation pathways to connect individuals at risk with timely professional and crisis support resources
