- Identify common warning signs and risk indicators associated with suicide and severe mental health distress;
- Demonstrate how to ask direct, supportive questions about suicidal thoughts and engage in brief, hope-focused conversations; and
- Apply appropriate referral and escalation pathways to connect individuals at risk with timely professional and crisis support resources
